Evil Geniuses (EG) is collaborating with The University of Texas at Dallas’ Esports Program (UTD) to host a Smash Ultimate Tournament for students across the country on Sunday, April 25 at 11 AM PT. The Genius League Comet Cup will give 512 students the chance to compete for $1,000 in prizes and bragging rights.
Register to Compete
The Comet Cup is open to all college students in North America. Students do not need to be an official member of their university’s esports program. Register to be a Smash Ultimate collegiate esports competitor here.
The collegiate showdown will be streamed on EG’s and UTD’s Twitch channels. AT 11 AM PT, UTD will stream up to the top 32 competitors on twitch.tv/utdesports. Then, the rest of the matches will be live on twitch.tv/evilgeniuses. This is the first large-scale Smash Ultimate event Evil Geniuses’ Collegiate Genius League has hosted, but certainly not the last. Be sure to check updates on the Genius League’s blog for other tournaments you can participate in.
