Reformed in the shadow of the TI5 championship squad, Evil Geniuses Dota division is proof of the continued strength of the formula laid down by the team's forefathers. Fielding a five man roster of perhaps the strongest individual players ever assembled and backed up by a rock-solid support system, EG looks to continue the legacy of one of the most successful and decorated teams in the West.

    Andreas "Cr1t-" Nielsen has long been regarded as a top skilled support by his teammates. It wasn’t until late 2015 however where he hit upon a squad with the right mix of talent and timing to make him a proven quantity on the world stage. One of few that can claim multiple Major titles to their name, he joins EG in a captain’s role for his first time, with big shoes to fill and heavy expectations to shatter.

    Saahil "Universe" Arora is a decorated Dota veteran and TI5 champion, that has competed in all of Valve's yearly championships. A long-time fixture of the North American scene and one of the most consistent offlaners in the world, Universe is the player you can always count on to level the playing field in even the most out of control games.

    Sumail "SumaiL" Hassan exploded into the Dota world out of nowhere in 2015. At the young age of 15 and playing in his second ever live event, his absolute domination of the mid lane led EG to first place in gaming’s largest prize pool. He would go on to repeat the feat at TI5 a few months later, where he silenced critics and took home the aegis. He sits comfortably on the short list for greatest player of all time.

    Artour "Arteezy" Babaev is undoubtedly the most infamous character in Dota history. Back in an EG jersey for a third time (don’t ask), Arteezy has much to prove to his large following, who very often blur the line between fan and fanatic.

    Clinton "Fear" Loomis is widely known and respected as "Old Man Fear", with an unrivaled presence in the competitive scene of Dota since 2006. Retiring after over a decade of regular competition and now in his new but familiar role as Coach, Fear will look to closely monitor and mold this group into a true powerhouse which will represent EG on the global stage.
