EG Welcomes Commonly to Halo Division

Posted 27th of Jan 2016 by Evil Geniuses

Today Evil Geniuses is pleased to welcome Hamza "Commonly" Abbaali to our Halo division following the departure of Tony "LxthuL" Campbell Jr. Abbaali will join the likes of Eric "Snipedown" Wrona, Jason "Lunchbox" Brown, and Justin "Roy" Brown as the team hopes to carry over the success they experienced last year into 2016.

"It’s surreal to be teaming with the guys on EG. It’s a huge confidence boost knowing some of the best players of all time believe in me. I hope I can continue the EG legacy, and make a good run for the Halo World Championships this upcoming March," said Abbaali.

Formerly of Renegades, the California native brings his talents and energy to one of the most experienced and strongest teams on the planet. While he may not be as well-known as his new teammates, he's widely regarded as one of the strongest young, up-and-coming Halo players in North America.

"We are excited to grow with an up-and-comer like Commonly, and it feels as though I'm reliving my 2008 season giving someone with incredible talent the chance to really showcase their skills on the big stage," said Wrona.

Currently, Abbaali is actively scrimming with the rest of the team as they prepare for X Games Aspen this weekend, as well as the Halo World Championship.
